I enjoy podcasts. They give me the ability to listen to highly focused content with few commercials and at my own time and speed (2x thank you very much). Here are some of my favorites:
The EntreLeadership Podcast is your resource for lessons from Dave Ramsey on business, team building and leadership. Hosted by Dave’s leading business speaker and Coach, Chris Hogan, each podcast is loaded with insight and ideas featuring expert guests such as Tony Hsieh, Simon Sinek and Dan Cathy, as well as key leaders from Dave’s company, and of course, Dave himself.
Every week, Chris releases a new podcast episode and shares vital information to help you grow your leadership, your business, and your life. Each episode is packed with tools that cause you to look at leadership and life in a different way, and focus on what really matters: people.
.NET Rocks! is a weekly talk show for anyone interested in programming on the Microsoft .NET platform. The shows range from introductory information to hardcore geekiness. Many of our listeners download the mp3 files and burn CDs for the commute to and from work, or simply listen on a portable media player.
Tim Ferriss is a self-experimenter and bestselling author, best known for The 4-Hour Workweek, which has been translated into 40+ languages. Newsweek calls him “the world’s best human guinea pig,” and The New York Times calls him “a cross between Jack Welch and a Buddhist monk.” In this show, he deconstructs world-class performers from eclectic areas (investing, chess, pro sports, etc.), digging deep to find the tools, tactics, and tricks that listeners can use.
Manager Tools is focused on helping you become a more effective manager and leader. Each week we’ll be talking about new tools and easy techniques you can use to help achieve your management objectives. If you’re tired of a lot of management “theory” and would rather learn specific actions you can take TODAY, we think you’ll enjoy the Manager Tools podcast.
